Tired of falling off ?the wagon? Here, experts share how to make your resolutions last
"New Year's resolutions are much more effective with a zero-tolerance approach. This means if you decide to give up alcohol for a month, you absolutely do it 100 per cent all of the time. No half-measures or 'cutting back'. With this in mind, don't set unrealistic resolutions. Don't swear off chocolate if it's important to you. Make a different resolution in that case, such as no chocolate on weekdays. If you do fall off the wagon, don't beat yourself up. Get back into the zero-tolerance groove, and reset to start again the next day."
"To be successful, make time to plan for a healthy lifestyle. Start by making Sunday prep day and pack the fridge with foods for the week. Whenever you cook, cook extra. Having leftovers ready to go is a lifesaver. Plan your meals around seasonal produce as this keeps things interesting and ensures you're eating variety. Finally, set yourself three achievable health goals each day and before you know it those goals will become habit."
