Andy Wright is the Founder/CEO at BRIX. Andy began his recruiting career in 2003, and has a proven track record of helping companies both large and small increase sales team retention and productivity through recruiting top talent. Prior to launching BRIX in December of 2011, Andy held key leadership positions for two Twin Cities-based search firms, training and managing teams of recruiters while developing new business and managing national account relationships.
Andy strives to serve clients and candidates with honesty, integrity, and professionalism. His personal style combines aggressive recruiting methods with consultative, positive, and highly engaging client and candidate communication. Andy has consistently set himself apart in an extremely competitive industry through delivering on what he promises: high-quality candidates, unmatched service levels, and an unwavering focus on bottom-line results.
Andy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University. He resides in Chaska, Minn. with his wife and three daughters. Aside from fishing, golfing and doing anything to be outdoors, Andy enjoys participation in several local philanthropic organizations including the Carver County Community Action Partnership and Meals on Wheels.
Adam Vortherms joined the BRIX team in April, 2015. Since joining the BRIX team, he has been a consistent top producer and was promoted in January 2019 to Managing Partner. Adam specializes in the Home Improvement and Building Materials industries focusing on sales and management roles.
His leadership abilities allow him to create new relationships as well as maintain existing clients within his portfolio(s) plus utilizing his abilities in sales to attract new applicants for his clients on a local and national level. Client satisfaction is his ultimate goal. He will go beyond expectations to meet the client’s requirements by understanding and studying their organizational needs before beginning each search. The challenge of locating the elite candidates through research and referrals helps him find the long tenure and experienced candidates that his clients desire. He takes a genuine interest with all of his clients and candidates to ensure client satisfaction. Honesty and determination are two words that describe the style of professional recruiting he will provide to each of his clients.
Adam graduated from Minnesota State, Mankato with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources with Minors in Business Law and Business Administration. He also attended the Dale Carnegie Sales Training to strengthen his interpersonal relationships, improve his problem-solving skills, enhance his communication abilities, all of which allowed him to become a focused leader. Born and raised in Eden Prairie, MN he spends his free time playing golf, fishing (both open and hard water) and spending the summer weekends up north at his family’s cabin.
Andrew Henke joined the BRIX team in April of 2019. Currently, Andrew leads a team of Recruiters who support BRIX’s home improvement industry clientele. Prior to joining the BRIX team, Andrew spent 15 years working in Retail Management within Fortune 100 companies. During his time in retail, Andrew prided himself on developing long-term customer relationships and mentoring team members through their career paths. His experience in Retail has allowed Andrew to master customer service and listening skills, which transfer well to Recruiting, in terms of being able to identify and match the needs of both client and candidate.
Andrew graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing. Andrew and his wife recently welcomed their first child into their family. Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending his time with family, on the golf course, at his family’s cabin during the summer months, and doing anything that involves fitness, including spending time in his home gym.
Briony’s role at BRIX has evolved as the business has continued to grow. She assisted Andy in launching the business in January of 2012, by handling accounting tasks and a variety of other administrative duties. This allowed Andy to keep his focus on our clients and delivering excellent results as well as customer service and satisfaction.
Prior to her work at BRIX, Briony was a full time Mom to their three daughters. She enjoys the beautiful Minnesota summers, travel, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
Ryanne joined BRIX in Dec 2020. Currently, she manages the day-to-day activity of the Home Improvement Division. Prior to joining BRIX, she spent some time recruiting for the accounting and finance industry. Her prior recruiting experience helped her to hit the ground running when she started with BRIX. She loves relationships building and juggling multiple projects at a time, which is why she enjoys recruiting so much!
Ryanne graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Business Administration degree and Human Resource minor. She played soccer at UW-Stout and loves some friendly competition which is something she brings to her current role here at BRIX! When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with family, friends, and her dog Millie! Growing up in Minnesota, she has learned to love being outdoors, watching hockey, and spending time out on the lake.
Jeff joined BRIX in April 2022 and currently serves as a Senior Recruiter in the Home Improvement Division. Prior to joining BRIX, Jeff led business development and operations for an e-recycling company specializing in repurposing used and broken technology. In this role, he worked directly with individual consumers, businesses, and schools. His ability to connect with colleagues at all levels in his previous job set him up for success at BRIX, contributing to the organization's significant growth over his 2+ years here. Jeff grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN, as the oldest of three brothers. He enjoys being a networker and collaborator, often organizing events and outings with family and friends. This passion has carried over to BRIX, where he plans daily and weekly contests for the team.
When he isn’t “smiling and dialing,” Jeff loves spending time with his wife, Maria, and their son, Liam. They live in the southwest metro area and enjoy exploring parks, trails, and restaurants together. A passionate Minnesota sports fan, Jeff dreams of the day he’ll witness a championship trophy raised here. Known for his resourcefulness, Jeff is always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone he connects with in his personal or professional life.
